Atualmente, minha vida está bem movimentada esportivamente, por isso, hoje resolvi escrever um pouco sobre o esforço e o quanto realmente queremos alcançar nossas metas.
Currently, my life is quite busy sporty, so today I decided to write a little about the effort and how much we really want to achieve our goals.
Primeiro, fico à imaginar o que nos diferencia de um campeão olímpico, de um grande esportista ou de até mesmo de um colega que pratica esportes com maior frequência em alguma modalidade específica. Por quê estas pessoas conseguem carregar mais peso, pular muito mais alto ou qualquer atividade esportiva melhor do que nós.
First, I get to imagine what differentiates us from an Olympic champion, a great athlete or even a colleague who practices sports with greater frequency in some specific way. Why these people can carry more weight, jump much higher or any sports better than us.
Acredito que por mais simples que nós sejamos, todos nós gostamos quando alguém nos admira por algo que fazemos e quenos destaca dos demais, o esporte em si, pode nos proporcionar isso com maior facilidade, por isso, o número de competições', mesmo que amadoras é bem alto. Todos nós somos naturalmente vaidosos, alguns mais, outros menos.

Lembro-me que quando tinha cerca de 12 anos, assistia à uma fita de VHS que meu irmão tinha do Michael Jordan, do Magic Johnson, Scott Pipen e outras estrelas da NBA. Neste vídeo, era mostrado lances incríveis, pois as jogadas eram inimagináveis de serem previstas e com raras exceções, todas elas tinham o resultado positivo, a cesta. O que achava estranho naquela época, era como aqueles jogadores eram tão bons naquilo que faziam e como poderiam ter tal genialidade.

Em partes, foi essa genialidade que me impediu de avançar em algumas áreas, pois por muito tempo fiquei a imaginar que não poderia chegar a resultados tão expressivos, pois afinal, eu não a tal da genialidade. Nesta época de olimpíadas, fico pensando quantas pessoas deixaram de seguir seus caminhos por ter tido o mesmo tipo de pensamento.

Não quero aqui, dizer que era para eu ter sido um medalhista olímpico caso soubesse que esa genialidade não existe e nem quero me fazer de coitado, com certeza esse não é o meu objetivo. Na verdade, gostaria apenas de tentar dismistificar esta questão de genialidade, pois para a minha concepção atual, a genialidade deve ser resumida em diversos fatores, como a pré disposição genética, a capacidade física, o biotipo, raciocínio lógico rápido, poder de concetração, foco, objetividade e outros fatores mais. Mas em minha paixão por diversas modalidades de esporte, tenho percebido que um fator que sempre deve ser levado muito em conta é o psicológico que cada pessoa possui e isso depende muito do momento profissional e pessoal que cada um se encontra.

Através do fator psicológico é que eu acredito que as pessoas podem se aproximar ou se distanciar de seus objetivos, afinal, é esse fator que nos controla e que nos diz se estamos treinando duro, se podemos ir mais adiante ou se somos capazes ir ou não pouco mais do que consiguiríamos. É este fator que aliado ao tempo de treino que faz com que os resultados sejam alcançados, mas logicamente, a longo prazo!

Olhando o vídeo que me motivou a escrever este post, fico imaginando o quanto queremos chegar à um resultado e o quanto realmente buscamos por nossos objetivos. Queremos resultados rápidos e para isso, até nos esforçamos bastante para atingir nossas metas. Minhas principais dúvidas relacionadas a este assunto são: Será que realmente nos esforçamos muito para alcançar nossos objetivos? Por quanto tempo nos dispomos a alcançá-los? Que resultados queremos colher com os esforços e o quanto nos empehamos para isso?
Looking at the video that motivated me to write this post, I wonder how we arrive at a result and how much we really seek for our goals. We want quick results and for that, enough to strive to achieve our goals. My main questions related to this subject are: Do we really strive hard to achieve our goals? For how long we are willing to reach them? What we want to reap results through the efforts and how we empehamos for this?
Ao ver o vídeo que trago hoje, vejo que o treino realizado por este atleta é muito pesado, mas ainda, esse vídeo me mostra que muitos e muitos treinos foram precisos para que este atleta chegasse ao nível que ele se encontra hoje. Será que um dia chegarei aos meus objetivos esportivos (correr 21Km)? Bom, depois de ver este vídeo, pode ter certeza que vou me esforçar ainda mais:

Para finalizar esta postagem, gostaria que todos refletissem sobre o processo de ensino de nossos alunos. Que educação estamos buscando para nossos jovens e o quanto estamos nos esforçando para alcançá-lo? Assim como no esporte, acredito que seja necessário que todos nós busquemos resultados mais amplos e sempre nos termos em mente que o ensino é resultado de um processo muito árduo e longo, por isso, os esforços devem ser sempre cada vez maiores, duradouros e audaciosos, nesta área não podemos nos dar ao luxo de sermos sedentários.
To end this post, I would like everyone to reflect on the teaching of our students. What we are seeking education for our youth and how we are striving to achieve it?
